Conference comes on the heels of CLEAR’s launch at SFO; Just before the launch of DFW
(ORLANDO, FL – June 11, 2012) CLEAR today announced that it will sponsor the upcoming U.S. Conference of Mayors Annual Summer Meeting, which will be held in Orlando during the week of June 13-16. This comes on the heels of CLEAR’s launch at San Francisco Airport and just ahead of the much-anticipated launch at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport at the end of June, capping off an intense six-week period of national activity.
“We, in Orlando, know the benefits of CLEAR firsthand. It makes traveling faster and easier, which helps us attract more tourists and business travelers, and allows Orlando residents to speed through airport security without waiting in long lines. I’m thrilled that CLEAR is sponsoring the U.S. Conference of Mayors Annual Summer Meeting and am pleased that my colleagues will get the chance to see how CLEAR works,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.
“Innovative technology solutions are important in continuing to build our airports into powerful engines for economic development,” said CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker. “We are thrilled to introduce CLEAR to more of America’s mayors and demonstrate our ability to help create new jobs, generate additional revenue and increase security at airports across the country.”
CLEAR is the trusted repository for secure identification. Today, CLEAR’s biometric platform delivers speed, predictability, and service to members at the airport, while enhancing airport security. CLEAR’s dedicated lanes speed members through security in five minutes or less on average. Enrollment is fast and easy, either at the airport, in town, or at your office.
CLEAR operates at San Francisco, Denver and Orlando international airports and will be launching in Dallas/Fort Worth in early summer. Over 600,000 travelers have used our lanes, collectively saving CLEAR members more than 17 million minutes. CLEAR has a base of more than 200,000 members across the U.S.
